Got the site fully restored and added some pictures that I some how missed in 2008.02 and 2009.01.

My old server (Mac PowerBook G4) blew up; first the drive then the display. That’s ok. It gave me a good 5+ years so I’ve been very happy with it.

I went out and got a new Mac Mini Server and am now using that. I didn’t like it at first but now that I’ve got the hang of it... it’s pretty slick!

Added 10 more photos to 2008. A baby squirrel that I found in the parking lot behind my place of employment.

I know I should let nature be but I just could not resist. It was in the middle of a large parking lot. The way some of these pizza delivery guys (next to us) drive it surely would have been squished. I even called the local wildlife rescue people but they wanted to charge me something ridiculous like $150 just to come and get it.

I tried to hydrate it with pedialite and ultimately let it go in some bushes. The next day it had expired. :( So sad.

Alright. Got this domain migrated to my new server. I do have new things to post but that will come after I’ve migrated the rest of my domains and updated them as well.

15 new pictures to post. Just been so busy and not in the mood to deal with it. Just updated NerdBird with a bunch of new stuff and I'm wiped out. I think it's time to go home and play some Wii with the Ferret.

Finally done. All pictures are up. Of course there will be more and I'll post as they are added. I usually don't pull photos from my memory card for a long while since it can hold several thousand.

I used to think some of these older photos were really nice. Looking at them again years later they look like ass. I guess I just got spoiled with this new camera. Oh well, from here on we should see better quality stills.

I'm not a professional photographer by any means. I don't know a lot about cameras, image manipulation, perspective, ISO, white balance or any of that fancy stuff, but I do tend to take a lot of pictures of random things that catch my eye. Like the million monkeys typing... if you take enough pictures you're bound to get a few decent ones.

I have a few other sites where I post my pictures, but they are more of a specific subject so I thought I'd use this space to post the randomness of what I see that doesn't fit elsewhere.

My first digital camera was purchased in 1999. Even though it is only 1.3mp it really has held up over the years. But after nearly 8 years I thought it time to upgrade so now I'm using a Canon SD750 (7.1mp). It's an amazing little piece of technology that I take with me everywhere. Since I've only had it a short while there aren't a lot of pictures worth posting but that will surely change.
